This solo project came with the requirement that it was playable without any instructions. The final product is cooperative turn based combat against a series of enemy cards with the goal of beating them all, using symbols to indicate values and mechanics.

In the creation of this RTS, turn-based board game, my role was centered on the game's rules, mechanics, and a short amount of time left for balancing. There's a lot at play here, but it all starts with the player choosing a class for their character and a race for their minions. Travel, create buildings, manage resources, build an army, and wipe out all opponents.

This design challenge required making an asymmetrical game where opposing sides have the same goal. In this case, the goal is capture the zone, but one side controllers an aggressive and numerous goblin army while the other controls a single dwarf that can build defensive turrets.

This is one of the first board games I collaborated and helped design. It's a dice rolling turn-based combat game, so it really all comes down to luck. The board helps the players track their health and any stacks of poison.
